Rita Droege Lopez is a creative redesigner for Tarragona Designs. Helping people to reinvent themselves with new careers as a vocational counselor for 25 years is the background she leverages when working with clients to redesign homes today. Rita understands what people are seeking, what they would like to keep in their life and what they want to shed. With that understanding, she helps transform living spaces into homes that reflect the individuals residing there.
As a seasoned business owner, Rita firmly believes that customer service is what separates her business from the rest. She will not be satisfied until she knows that her clients are truly happy with the outcome. She works hard to gain the trust of her clients by listening to their needs and communicating with them throughout the entire process.
Rita has been committed to the art of redesign even before she learned that it was an actual practice. She received her training though The Studio, allowing her to apply the years of experience she acquired by simply helping family and friends redecorate their homes. Rita feels truly blessed that in one lifetime she has been able to have two rewarding careers.

Rita is now also a certified member of SAR and has completed their new course for Advanced Stagers which was written and instructed by Matthew Finlason, the award winning host of HGTV’s television series ‘The Stagers’. This Advanced Design and Marketing course for Home Stagers teaches advanced design and creativity, future trends, and secrets to designing stunning installations to attract luxury market.
“When I was a vocational counselor, I frequently discussed with my clients how to reinvent themselves when choosing a new career after they were no longer able to continue working in their profession. I now have similar discussions with my redesign clients on how to reinvent their homes. We discuss what items they love and want to keep in the same manner as current skill sets that they can build upon. My inspiration is to utilize what my clients have and assess what can bring a fresh look into their homes. I strive for big impact with minimal investment.”
